![]() I almost installed the MSFS SDK (software developer kit) trying to solve the simconnect error when I read on the web that other programs (FSUIPC) should be started in a folder that contains the correct version of simconnect.dll. I initially tried putting a shortcut to the main program in my taskbar and kept getting error messages that it could not find simconnect.dll. Registered Navigraph users gain access to a web-based dispatching system, capable of generating in-depth flight plan packages featuring detailed fuel. FltPlan has been notified that its not yet fully approved for iOS 14 and will notify users when they can upgrade to iOS 14. Now that I installed the latest MSFS patch and upgraded iPad to iPad 14, I failed to make a flight to connect to my Sim. Remember to start this from inside its unzipped folder, it needs some other files plus simconnect.dll (all of which reside in its unzipped folder). I had fltplan go on my iPad working fine with MSFS 2020 using fltplan go GPS connection tool. I especially love you can start this product BEFORE you start MSFS. That said once that happens, this will be a 5-star offer and worth every penny of its modest price. I surmise it should be a simple and quick fix for the developer, I have advised them this important datapoint is needed and currently not present. You wouldn't know it if you aren't subscribed to Foreflight's top tier product, which requires aircraft attitude to properly display synthetic vision's 3-D moving terrain. Part 91 pilots are not required to have current, or any, charts on board. In the iPad app under Map and Options, make sure also that you have Enable Ship Position checked as well as Enable FSX Sim GPS. An indispensable companion to the FltPlan website, our free FltPlan Go app. Compared to its competitors, this program seems to operate better, smoother and faster and thus it is almost a 5-star product! The only one thing I missed was that in Foreflight this product appears to not be sending "attitude" (not ALTITUDE) to foreflight. If so you need to go into your iPad Settings screen, scroll down into the list of apps to the Fltplan Go app, and make sure there the Location is set to Never.
